Wesley (Wes) E. Sturdivant founded Avad in 2018 after more than 30 years as a services provider in the federal, military and commercial market space.
Wes has provided contracted services nationally and internationally for high profile properties, military bases and major federal government agencies. Most notably, Wes co-founded Eagle Technologies, Inc. in 1999. Over the course of 10 years, the company grew to become a formidable force as a federal government contractor growing from zero to over $30 million in annual revenues. Among other achievements, Eagle Technologies was the only U.S. security firm to be recognized twice by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security with the Small Business Achievement Award, in 2007 and 2009.
Wes founded Avad as a company in the “people business.” Avad means “to serve” and that’s exactly what we do to ensure that our clients shine.
Over the course of 10 years, the company grew to become a formidable force as a federal government contractor growing from 2 to over 800 employees and from zero to over $30 million in annual revenues.
